Announcements

  • Steve Kimberly announced that Northwest Youth Services has lost Federal Funding and asked that next week’s Bucks in the Bay be used to bridge the gap.
  • Glendine Barley announced that the Club needs RYLA applicants.  The deadline is April 15th.  The May 2-5, 2013 event is for 18-25 year olds.
  • Gaythia Weis announced a workshop will be held on March 28, 2013 at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal to address ocean acidification.
  • Glen Groenig announced the Club will have a golf event at Lake Padden on May 14, 2013. 
  • Bob Moles announced the District Assembly will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Canada for committee chairs.  The Club will pay the entry fees for 5 attendees.
 

Bucks in the Bay

  • Steve Spitzer for a son injured skiing, a surfing grandson and a wife’s thumb surgery.
  • Gordon Plume for Marilyn Olsen’s review of his son’s manuscript.
  • Dannon Traxler for her sons and a recent adoption.
  • Kendall Pickerill for a planned wedding trip to Hawaii.
  • Lesa Boxx for missed meetings and a birthday.
  • Tonja Myers for attending the Rotary Leadership Institute, niece being Rotary Student of the Month, and selling Girl Scout cookies. 
  • Patti Imhof for a birthday, trip to Palm Springs.  Patti will match next week’s Bucks in the Bay up to $1000.
  • Bob Moles for next week’s speaker, Bob Robinson, voice of the Cougars.
  • Dale Collins for a trip to Cabo.
  • Stan Dyer for Kendall joining the Club and her donations to hotel toiletries.
  • Barry Kramer for trip to Hawaii.
