Student of the Month - Mike Bates and Squalicum HS Councilor Aramis Johnson introduced our final SOM of the year, Chrystal Morales, a senior at Squalicum.  She is an  honors student, participates in Interact, many community service projects such as tutoring elementary school kids with reading Mon-Thursdays, participates in sports such as tennis, soccer and track & field.  Chrystal says she and her family are residents of Sterling Meadows, an apartment complex and community that houses 50 former farmworkers.  Chrystal also volunteers in a migrant youth mentoring program.  Her goal is to attend WWU and become a teacher.
