The membership committee and the board have both approved the application of a new candidate for membership: Patrick Drum.  Patrick is a Portfolio Manager at Saturna Capital, and his Rotary classification would listed as “Financial Planner”.  He has lived in Bellingham for three years, his community work has included serving on the board for the Museum of Glass. Patrick is interested in serving on the BBRC Foundation Committee.  His sponsor is Harold Scott.  This notice will be posted for two weeks, while members can comment or object to Scotty or President Bill Geyer.

Program
Glen Groenig interviewed our own Andy Clay.  Andy was born in Texas and grew up in Oklahoma, then University of Denver, then degree and agriculture, then degree in nursing school, ended up in Spokane working at a nursing home.  Met husband there, then made the move to Bellingham and a side track into the auto business.  Now she is back in the nursing home / senior living business which is her first love.  She also talked about her founding a cooperative school in Kenya, which is now really thriving.

Thanks for being a part of our club, Andy!

No meeting June 28th or July 5th.

Respectfully submitted,
