  • Bob Moles:  There are 36 people that are still not on a committee, so please sign up.
  • Brief board meeting today after lunch
  • Mike Werner reminds everyone to pay their dues ($150);
  • Terry Brown:  Brewers tickets on sale now!  Still need volunteers sign up for pourers/tix takers.  Next week we need a few to help washing glasses (here at Northwood Hall).
  • Eddie:  This year’s Crab Feed will be at Vartanyan Estate Winery (http://www.vewinery.com) on the 17th of July, Thursday evening, with music, great food and wine, bring the entire family!  $30 per adult, pay at the event!  Directions:  Go out Mount Baker Highway five miles, turn left on Noon Road, go less than one mile, turn left on Huntley Road, go about 200 yards and look for winery on right side.
  • Other fellowship events?  Nov/Dec hockey game?  Theater/Dinner event Jan 20th “RAIN” ( tribute to the Beatles) at MBT.  February we’ll do a Vikings basketball game, June perhaps a Bells baseball game.  Maybe a Thurs eve gathering at Bellwether?
 
Bucks in the Bay
  • Barry last Saturday night at Padden GC new game involving soccer ball on the golf course;
  • Lance did the Chuckanut footrace, coached a game, then Birch Bay;
  • Doug Wight plug for Hospice, Pro-Am golf tourney (Aug 7th at Bellwether and then Aug 8th at Padden CG), this year they have successfully paid off the remaining debt on the house!  Ebright Wight just purchased another management company, Bayview;
  • Dick Stark had a great week on the Rogue River, also Jake Locker had a family commitment that came up otherwise he would be here;
  • Phil X said Holland came in third, a wedding, excavator arrived to start the Food Bank expansion;
  • Sue Sharp $50 for foundation, St Lukes Foundation to co-locate (with two other organizations) into the second floor in WA Fed Bldg
  • Bill Geyer swearing in ceremony on anniversary, made it up to wife by going to Willows restaurant;
  • Frank Z did some triathlons recently with family;
  • Bill Gorman make up in Guatemala there for 2 weeks doing service work there with 6 high school kids, lots of fun and very inspiring (he’ll do a presentation about it in September);
  • Paul Twedt great weekend “fly-boarding” on the lake, IOU for $23 for wedding anniversary;
  • Debbie Kiene thanks to Paul Twedt for volunteering at her Sunday School;
