Program
As substitute for our absent speaker, Stan told of his military history in the army in WWII and Korea; Ed Zech about his time in the Navy in the 70's then a military surgeon in Bethesda for many years, Anna's husband also served in the Air Force for 32 years (shot down twice), John Sleeth served stateside in Alaska, Ron Hardesty served Air Force working on B52's and completed 23 missions in Vietnam, Steve Kimberly volunteered in 1975 went to Japan, Brent Walker served in Southeast Asia, Orphalee's husband Richard served and received several honors. Stan even wrote a book about his military experiences for posterity.
