Program - Bill introduced Brian Herring for his slide show of bicycle touring on the course of the Tour-de-France. Brian is a 6-year resident of Bham, 15 years worked with REI, now RE appraiser with Follis. 23 days on the route of the Tour-de-France immediately before the actual event. He and wife are "touring junkies" and took their 2-year old plus 2 college-age nannies in a motor home. Park adventure travel, part family vacation. Very hot and flat for the first stages. Then advanced to the Alps and finally the Pyrenees. After they finished, they stayed around for a week to watch the actual Tour. Wonderful photos of the French countryside in the summer. Brian recommended bicycling as the perfect way to see France.

Respectfully submitted,
