Program "Fly Fishing with the Bears"
Bob Moles presented an interesting slideshow/video on sports fishing (fly fishing for mainly rainbow trout) in Katmai, AK on the Alagnak River.  Bob has vacationed there many times over the years.  He flies up to Anchorage and then takes Katmai Air float planes out to the lodge.

There are Grizzly bears everywhere, feeding on sockeye salmon (not so interested in eating humans). Grizzlies are the biggest bears in the world.  This year, they saw lots of cubs.

The accommodations at Katmai are first-class:  Great food in the lodge, and two-person cabins.  You can fish near the lodge, or fly out by float plane to more remote locations.

Respectfully submitted,
