This is our last meeting of the year , and on behalf of the entire club, Tim gave special thanks to Cindy and her crew at Northwood Hall!

Cathy introduced the Squalicum Interact Club. This program has grown dramatically over the past year. Club president, Nadya, described some of the many projects they have completed and plan to complete in the coming year:
- Operation Smile Student Team to raise money for free reconstructive surgery for children with cleft palates in developing countries in partnership with Operation Smile, a worldwide organization.
- Making Mothers' Day Baskets for Battered Women
- Coordinating and Participating in Food Drive for the Food Bank
- Lincoln Square Chore D, cleaning the homes of low-income elderly residents.
- Preparing Meals for Thanksgiving Feed
- Serving as a Whatcom Hospice Volunteer
- Serving as a Big Brothers Big Sisters Volunteer
- Helped on-site with the annual Bowling for Kids' Sake fundraising event
- Cleaning Boulevard Park as part of the Clean-Up Crew
- Volunteering at an Animals as Natural Therapy Open House
- Collecting Coats for the Underprivileged
- Directing Traffic at the Jingle Bell Run for the Arthritis Foundation
- Decorating for the Dash for Dollars Event

Ms. TRESHA ANN DUTTON, Faculty member with Whatcom Community College. Her sponsor is Christine Palmerton and her Classification is Education, College.

fines for the Mayor for police incidents, Christine Palmerton fined THREE times, Lesa Boxx, Tim McEvoy, Dave, Dan, John and Tim for being late, Tonja and Brent, and everyone who has already purchased their spouses Xmas gifts, Jim Johansen and John Templeton. Curt Smith offered UW basketball tix, which were auctioned off to winning bidder Scot Swanson.

Program
Bill Gorman introduced the Sehome Jazz Band, under the direction of Craig C. Snyder. The band played a number of Christmas songs in a jazzy style. The entire club was impressed by the level of musicianship and poise by the band members. The club offered the students a $250 gift for their upcoming trip.
