Program
Steve Brummel introduced Brad Jackson coach of WWU men's basketball coach, and Carmen Dolfo from the women's team.

Brad talked about the unusual start to the season:  Disney Classic Tournament.  One of the senior players broke his finger and is probably out for season.  Central tenant of the team: "Work hard and get better every day".  Have the players buy into practice and create good habits.  Also:  "Little things make a big difference".  There are six seniors, and they are really on a mission and determined to have a successful season.  A 7-ft center from Australia.  Current record is 9-1.  Brad just won his 45oth game!

Carmen talked about the women's very tough and challenging schedule.  They have four seniors, two of whom are 5th year seniors.  Also some very talented juniors.  Carmen has her team read from a John Maxwell book: "17 Essential Qualities of a Team Player".  How to get them to give something up for the team, when they have come from stituations where they were the stars of their teams in high school. Very tough twice a day workout schedule, lifting weights four times a week.

Please come out and support the WWU teams!

Respectfully submitted,
Stowe Talbot
