Cindy Obrien (?) introduced John Ferris, our Squalicum student of the month. John is the son of Tim Ferris, the incoming president of Monday Rotary club. John enjoys giving back to the sports he loves: soccer and tennis. He has volunteered for the last 3 summers teaching kids. He is a senior at Squalicum HS, 18 years old, and next year he will be attending either SPU or Gonzaga U. John says volunteering is easier when you feel passionate about something. George presented John with SOM certificate.
