Program
Stan Dyer has been a Rotarian for 50 years!  He joined his first club in Valencia, California in 1960 and a few years later (1964) president of the Valencia club in 1964.  In 1970 moved to Tustin CA for five years.  Then Westchester, CA, and became president of that club, achivement was to get much of the club as Paul Harris.  Then in 1985 he joined Santa Monica club for about 13 years.

In 1986, Stan has the distinction of proposing the first ever women member of Rotary:  Ether Johnson!

After he moved to Bellingham, Stan became member of our club, proposed by John Templeton.  Almost became a member of Lynden's club (he would've figured out a way to get a women meber there!).  Four-way Test is an guidemotto for him.  He figures he has over 3,000 meetings, had a streak of 17 years not missed meetings at one point!

Thanks, Stan, for everything you do for Rotary!

Respectfully submitted,
Stowe Talbot
