New member application: The membership committee and board have approved the application of Lesa (pronounced Lisa) Boxx. Lesa is an agent for Country Insurance & Financial in Lynden, and was sponsored by Kathy Cheldelin. If you have any comments or objections, please see Matt Rose or Orphalee.

Eddie's crab feed will happen next Thursday, July 19, 4-6pm on the M/V Well Adjusted located at the dock just below Bellingham Yacht Club (Gate 3, visitors' dock). Please let him know if you are attending and haven't already signed up.

Tim Carpenter reported that Whatcom North will be having it's annual Rummage Sale next Saturday 8am - 3pm at CentralElementary School in Ferndale; please donate or attend. All proceeds are benefiting the DickMetcalfTeenCenter (part of the Ferndale Boys & Girls Club).

Zachary Jones updated the "Brewers by the Bay" event: Sunday August 5th, 2-6 pm at Depot Market Square, tickets $25 bucks each. We need everyone to sell tickets, and also sign up to volunteer! Thanks Sarah Rothenbuhler for donating the glasses.

Barry passed the gavel and president's pin to Orphalee, who in turn gave a special plaque to Barry.

Barry presented Bill Geyer with the "Pinnacle of Service Award" for his work on the new Bellingham Food Bark project. Barry also specially thanked 25 people who helped make his Rotary term a success: Denise, Bill U, George Bowman, Terry and Steve, Curtis Dye, Bill Geyer, Phil X, Eddie, Paul Leuthold, Cy and Bob, Tim McEvoy, Todd, Matt Rose, Sarah R, Stowe, John T, Dennis, Brent, Dan W, Tonja, and Stan. 10% of our fundraising will go to our Foundation.

Stan and Carrie presented Barry with an ENORMOUS photo album, complete with over 1,200 photos and captions from the 2006-7 Rotary year; this beautiful book is the work of many hundred of hours by the Dyers. Thank you Stan and Carrie!!!
