Sergeant at Arms by Denise Bosman
Check website for Sgt Committee for whoever's interested in joining. Bill Gorman for not plugging in mic. Lesa Boxx's phone for going off. Anyone who watched a World Cup game. Anyone who has eaten a pork grind. Eddie Hansen for having Denise and kids for the weekend. Henry Lee for having the cutest kids in the world. Steve Brummel for his friend Todd Ramsay who's getting married the day before Brewers but will also be attending the event. Anyone who hasn't updated their Rotary picture online. Barry Kramer – Sad story about getting a Rotary banner.

Program by Bill Gorman
Demographic shifts locally and nationally.  The four different generation types:
a) Silent generation (ages 67+)
b) Baby boomers (ages 50-67)
c) Gen X (ages 30-50)
d) Millenial (ages 10-30)

Gen X becoming a bigger population. Income going up differently among each of the different generations. Shift in jobs. Political shifts. For the Millenials:

  • work rules are just guidelines
  • Job jumpers
  • 10th place trophies
  • Helicopter parents
  • Boomerang kids
  • Drop out myth
  • Waiting longer to get married.

Question and answer period. Bill to post slide show to website.

Respectfully submitted,
Henry Lee
