Bob Rice introduced John Levesque, sports writer for the Seattle Post Intelligencer. A 1972 grad Rhode Island in Journalism. Has won several awards. He has tried to personalize sports celebrities as "real people". Being a sports writer is fun, but being a sports broadcaster is the most fun. He talked about the importance of radio broadcasters in the growth of sports. Mariner's broadcaster Dave Niehaus once remarked that being a sports broadcaster was "like being a member of many families". He described the qualities of the perfect baseball announcer, mentioning guys like John Miller, Vince Scully, Harry Cary, Bob Kostas, Ned Martin, Joe Garagiola and Bob Euker.

John answered questions about Shaun Alexander (Seahawks), Sonics receiving no income from Key Arena's luxury boxes, Sonics predictions and Mariners predictions.

Ron wins the lottery.

Respectfully committed, Stowe Talbot
