Program Barry introduced Rod Thompson. Rod joined Coquitlam RC in 89, later moved to Abbotsford, he earned many awards, participated on several foundations, has international Rotary experience. He and wife Kathy have hosted many exchange students. Rod spoke on Rotary today and the changes that have taken place over the years. He also mentioned several interesting Rotary Foundation projects that are taking place by clubs in our district (5050). Two new programs:
Rotary Academy: online training about Rotary.
Adventures in Leadership: geared to 10-12th graders.
