Program
Steve Brummel introduced, Diane Flick, head coach of the WWU volleyball team. Last year the team was 2nd in country, this year ranked 10th. Lots of their players (8) graduated last year, so this year's team is very young (no seniors!). Started the season on August 10th. Diane talked about the four stages of forming the dynamics on the team:
1) forming (getting to know each other);
2) storming (fighting/conflict comes out - a good thing);
3) norming (settling in on the rules/standards);
4) performing.

No team member currently on a full ride scholorship. Every player must have a 2.0 GPA minimum, though last year's team averages a 3.4 GPA! Good students tend to get more out of the program.

Stan wins the raffle with the number 666!

Respectfully submitted,
Stowe Talbot
