  • Today’s Bucks in the Bay will go to Food Bank;
  • July 27th (Sunday) is Brewers by the Bay, $25/ea or $30 at the door, everyone expected to sell 12 tix, Tickets will be available by June 10th, we are expecting about 40 brewers.

Dannon announced the winners of our BBRC Squalicum HS student scholarships ($1000 each).  All are kids who have demonstrated outstanding community service as well as acedemic achievement:

Program
Bill Geyer introduced Aric Mayer, Adjunct Professor in both the College of
Business and Economics and the College of Fine and Performing Arts at
Western Washington University.  Aric is the owner of Mayer Studios, a
professional photographer and film producer.  Aric has worked for and with a
broad spectrum of clients across the for-profit and non-profit creative
spectrums, including Time Inc, Hearst Magazines, MTV/Comedy Central, Bomb
Magazine, McSweeney's, HEAL Africa, The Wall Street Journal, Columbia
Journalism Review, and Volume.  Eric says he started his career in
photography about 20 years ago at a time of the beginning of great changes
in media.  
 
Aric manages 14 Capstone projects conducted by WWU MBA students.  Capstone
projects are projects brought by local businesses to WWU College of Business
for assistance or strategy.   In his teaching, he is interested in
introducing creative strategies into business projects, and business
strategy into creative projects.
Eric uses four texts in his classes:
-Strategy Essentials;
-Discovery-Driven Growth;
-Managing Emerging Strategies;
-Design Thinking;
