  • Climbed Mt. Everest in April & May of 2013
  • Four months to prepare for climb but only takes about 4 days.
  • 9 people died on Mt. Everest this year.
  • 25 people on his team, plus 75 Sherpa’s, plus 30 logistic crew members.
  • Cost to climb Mt. Everest can cost approximately $45k for experienced climbers and as high as $100k+.
  • Base camp is 17k ft. Normally you have to climb to various camps and back to get your body prepared physical and mentally for the climb to the summit.
  • Normally climb at night because the ice is more stable and if there’s a problem, you have the day to correct it and climb down.
  • Lots of slides.
