  • G&G Update by Bryant and Curtis: Please buy you tickets to our club's most important fundraiser! We are still gathering donations to our auction portion of the event.  One auction item will be a "Wall of Wine" 40-50 bottles, which we hope we can achieve by members bringing in and donating one or two bottles from their own wine cellars.  Also there will be a pre-tasting event this Thursday %:30 - 8:30 pm at Bryant's house if you want to try a few wine before you buy. Pre-sales wines will be at about 30% discount off retail price, but you need to commit to 6-bottle increments.  If you only want one or two bottles, you can always buy them at the event's wine store.
  • Fellowship: Stew Ellison working on fellowship for us to go see Oct. 23 Beatles show at MBT, please let Stew know if interested to join us for show or dinner or both.

Program
Curtis Dye and Stowe Talbot talked about our Website, which is part of the Clubrunner family of Rotary Websites.  It is a template that we purchased in 2004 and for  which we pay an annual maintenance.  Clubrunner is a software company in Ontario Canada, which is becoming the predominant Rotary Website template for North American clubs, and used by Districts as well.  The benefit is that is very powerful (many useful functions, well designed and maintained remotely by Clubrunner.  For example you can send Emails, pay your Rotary bills, track attendance, store club documents, run all kinds of reports, organize you subcommittee work, post and archive bulletins, etc.

Clubrunner also comes with an iPhone app with some useful tools (search for it under "clubrunner").

To log in for the fist time, try your username as Fistname.Lastname.265 and password as 265.  If that doesn't work Email me (stowe.talbot@bellcold.com) and I will reset it or give you whatever name/password you want.

Next Week:  Kim Brown from the City of Bellingham will talk about the new green bike boxes and how bikes and traffic can interact safely.

Respectfully submitted,
Stowe Talbot
